onlineuser Posted November 16, 2003 Author Report Share Posted November 16, 2003 Hi!The ACPI options are set properly because under Windows 98, 200 and XP it worked fine!Under Windows 2003 I also not have any errors in the device manager!Did anyone try if Windows 2003 turn off the PC after shutting down?Maybe under Windows 2003 this feature doesn't exist any longer because Windows 2003 is a server system and normally not used for workstations?a lot of greetings from Austria! One way to see whats happening is to startup and shutdown in safe mode...does that work? if it does do it again and then type this into run Ntbtlog.txt. Make a note of the drivers that did not load...there will be a few as you have started in safe mode.Restart in normal mode and shutdown each service, (that didn't start in safe mode) one at a time to see if its a corrupt driver or service that is causing the problem...long winded I know but it ALWAYS works if its not a hardware problem or device manger issue.ChrisGot me out of a lot of fixes in the past.......
