Guest nellie2
I like to have my quick launch toolbar enabled... I know how to do this.. right click my task bar etc. Trouble is, XP isn't saving these settings and everytime I shut down and then boot back up I have to enable it again.... it is doing my head in!! Any ideas??

Tony
HiOnce you have enabled the quick launch, right click the task bar and tick the option "Lock the Taskbar", this may help.Good luckTony
Guest nellie2
Thanks for the input Tony.... yes the taskbar is locked. But I still have to enable quick launch every time I boot up!! It isn't a major problem.. I can live with it but it is a bit of a niggle.
Emmadw
NellieWhen I had the problem of the Quick Launch bar in Windows 2K resetting to a smaller size than I wanted, Kulsar suggested this reg tweak, which worked for it.HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ Explorer Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'NoSaveSettings' and set the value to equal '0'.You might want to see if there is a similar Key in XP.Emma
