moon
I've got a 3-Com four port ISDN modem which currently links my LAN of three 98SE machines to the 'net. My new rig is Windows 2000 Pro. Can I link it in ?
ByGeorge
I don't see why not, but if not, network via the 2000 as host.Probably best to install it as the server, moon, with the others as clients. You'd need a hub or switch. Auto IP addressing in the clients. ;) Works just fine with my XP home and the two 98SE clients, into a single port cable modem that requires a set IP address. Can't have a router. :)
