If so it looks like they'll be another patch do download soon enough...Arranging the server the other night was endless frustration, but it almost worked in the end, sadly my knowledge of games didn't extend to BF1942 console commands for kicking players, so I was at a bit of a loss - maybe we should figure out how to use the password option? Sounds like a good enough idea..In saying "Dealing with obnoxious gits is hard" I assume that Spook meant, people who wouldn't just play nice, and ruined the potential jeep race, etc - Can't remember their name, but if we sort out the passwording - they'll be no further hassle, right? :huh: Was windows forum down for most of yesterday? I never got to see if you planned on meeting up for another blast at the demo version :angry: - no matter - just hope no huge postings of a spectacular nature were lost...Ghost - Forum was working fine yesterday although many (including myself) had problems signing into the site, in fact we had a new record for most members online, 21 I think it was at around 11pm (ish). But we have lost all the post s made yesterday. :( Darn, I hate repeating myself...It was very frustrating trying to all get onto the same server, once we managed it we did have some good fun but I learnt that Ghost is a teamkiller, yup he most certainly is. I asked to be taken up in a two-seater plane and Ghost obliged and before I knew what was happening we were doing loops and the bit where we were upside down... ooo wow and the scenery below was so nice... the next thing I was aware of we had crashed and I died... dead ... killed by Ghost. :D As for Spook... well we know he can ramble on in his posts :D well blimey, he never shuts up. By the time I've commented on one of his messeges he has made, he has made another six in the meantime, and he wants us all to get Roger Wilco headsets... perish the thought :lol: We had a jeep race across the island, great fun. Spook was in the passenger seat with me driving I had just gone past Ghost ( I think he misjudged the bridge) :lol: and I was whooping away. Spook made a comment about "were all going to die" :rolleyes: which I didn't pay much attention to. I did notice several "somethings" in the road but thought that some native animal had done a plop... of course it was a mine and yes we did die. :ph34r: The password option sounds good to me Ghost, would be surprised to see Spook for a while, I think he needed some intense therapy after the other night. Ash Posted February 8, 2003 Report Share Posted February 8, 2003 Lol, no that wasn't what I heard, but that's not a good thing...a wallhack is there too!A friend said (I haven't got the patch after hearing so much negativity) that the Buddy List option, designed to help in clan matches, can be abused in that it doesn't distinguish between allies or enemies - it shows them all. Theoretically - Ordep is sniping Pig out, Pig gets mad, adds Ordep to Buddy list, hunts him down.Since I don't plan on getting it, can you two try that out? I've got to admire some of those pilots, they turn on a sixpence (ok 5p piece then) and they have a knack of dropping bombs right on top of you... how the heck do they do that? misspent youth if you ask me. :D Anyhow I returned to Ghost's server to find that someone had been there but had now gone (left me some signs... captured some flags) darn. I do these things with the best intentions - and one day, it'll all run smoothly....In my defence regarding the teamkiller slur, I'd like to point out that Spook killed you while you were in the same plane first, and I merely can not fly the blasted things... I've been busy trying to get back into SOF2 but finding it difficult in the sense that I find myself wanting to play online. Single player tends to be serious gameplay but MP... well it's just so hilarious, I find myself laughing away at all the silly things I see (and do) something that single player just can't compete with.
