In Outlook when I go to my calendar it highlites the day for a second then it loses focus and isnt highlited. At work this problem doesnt exist. Am using Office XP!I knew this problem would be a tough one to explain. Let me try again:Outlook has a shortcut bar where you can quickly acces your Calendar, Contacts, Inbox, etc... Lets say I'm viewing my Calendar then click the shortcut to Contacts. When they are displayed the first contact should be selected. In my case I can see that it gets selected but then it loses focus. Same goes for when I go to the Calendar (I have it displayed as months), the current day is selected but loses focus right away. I have attached a screen shot that shows what I'm talking about. You'll notice the current day is selected which is what is supposed to happen when I go from Contacts to Calendar or from Outlook Today to Calendar. Is it just the colour or the whole day box??The Blue color you see on the screen shot goes away and it shouldnt. The blue color I'm referring to is when you click on a day or a contact a blue bar appears (if your using the Luna theme).But I also think it really does lose focus because when I go to my contacts you should be able to type a letter and it will take you to the first entry with that letter. Like if I pressed the 't' key it would go to my first contact that started with the letter t. But I have to first click a contact (any contact) to give that section of the screen focus and then I can type a key and it will go to the first entry.From your responses it sounds like you have never heard of this problem before and I cant explain it either. If you change it to startup in any other folder you dont lose focus when switching between Contacts, Calendar, etc...Pretty dumb bug. It works but if you open another application or even windows explorer then close the application the problem reappears. I thought I had it!!
