Craig
The instant support tool provided by Windows Forum is getting underway now.A beta service is up and will become operational over the next week. You will need to have MSN / Windows Messenger available to make use of the support to begin with as you will need to download a contact list to import into the MSN / Windows Messenger application. The contact list will contain "staff" members from this forum. You can download the contact list from the following place:http://www.windowsforum.org/support/instant/disclaimer.htmWhen you have the option to download the contact list you will need to right click it and "save as". You can then import the list into messenger via the contacts menu.Craig.
doug
Talk me through the download and save routine a little more slowly please because my ears are a bit slow today. :sneaky:
Sir Radfordin
Doug, if you click the accept button from Craigs link you will be taken to another page with a link. Click that one and you will see an XML page with some code and then some email addresses. If you then do File and Save As and save the file as contact.ctt you can then import it from Windows Messenger/MSN. Or add each name as a contact in the normal way. After click the accept button you could then right click and SAVE AS the next link to acheive the same thing
