doug Posted January 3, 2004 Author Report Share Posted January 3, 2004 Yes folks all is well except for Pitstop saying my un cached speed for the main drive C & E is low @ 4.6 MB/s while the second drive is running at 6.5 MB/s. Will have to do some exploring. Was trying to find out whether, or not, I Have the DMA enabled but can't find it. Then had a panic 'phone call from No. daughter that her PC had locked up - No. 1 G'daughter had been trying out Sim's that her dad had sent for Xmas. Anyway sort of got that working using the HP recovery disc and have left it defragging.Won't be doing much tonight Am being taken to see "The Return of the King" by No.1 daughter and hubby as the balance of my Xmas pressie. Was really looking forward to it having indulged mesen recently in watching the DVD's of The Ring Parts 1 & 2. However, am developing a streaming sniffle and stuffed head. Pray for me one and all.
