  1. Hi dont know if you can help - funny thing is that this program has been sold and AFAIK to the people who worked there - said it was happening on Dec 1st but had not worked out charges but no longer any free photos. I emailed them and got auto reply will be back thousands to answer bla bla. And have just got an answer - again didnt say price or how anything just that they had taken over and download new photo program called Smile. And a link. I downloaded but haven't opened it, because when I went to their site to register as requested then said - "click next and for your convenience we will download all the photos on your computer". ' Can they just do that? I dont like the sound of it so haven't gone any farther because I once uploaded 3 photos for my sister in the UK - and later saw 2 of them - me and my dog and my dog alone on an Advertisement. Never uploaded any more and anyway got her own computer etc. FYI link www.webshots.com still works Is there some way to make sure they cannot upload my photos ? Maybe some way to password protect or maybe to shift them to my external HD I use as a back up? Not sure that would work as some programs like SAS check that drive too for spyware etc.
