moon
I'm used to having a thumbnail image on the left side when I hover over a file in folder view. It's gone. How do I get it back and why did it go ?
nellie2
Have you had a fiddle about with your viewing options Moon? I don't know where it went, I didn't nick it! :(
moon
I ain't touched nuffink. There doesn't seem to be anything under the 'view' tab to restore it. C'mon nell, you're the site genius, do sumfink. :D
moon
OK, I've located the 'View as Webpage' option in 2K and all is nearly well. The problem now is that the images with titles will preview but the images with just camera numbers will not. Any clues ?
moon
OK, OK, I've narrowed it down, It will preview files that I've run through Photoshop ( .psd files) but won't preview ordinary jpegs. Why not ?Edit; It will only show .psd files, nothing else. How can I fix that ? Is that a setting in Photoshop, IE or what ?

nellie2
and here is an article from good old M$ :) http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...Product=win2000and this onehttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...Product=win2000
moon
I think you should change your handle to Diamond Nell. :D Hit a snag following your links. The M$ solution, in W2K is to conjure up 'regsvr32 thumbbvw.dll' and to OK the 'succeeded' response. However, my message is 'regsvr32 thumbbvw.dll cannot be found' Brilliant as I am, in retrieving lost sound icons, I admit to being stumped. nellie2
I can't find anything in either of those articles that refers to 'regsvr32 thumbbvw.dll I just had a quick scan mind you.... but couldn't see it!! Which one were you following?

moon
Well, they don't assume that 'regsvr32 thumbbvw.dll cannot be found' Seems a trifle critical, what ? :D
