Craig Posted June 18, 2004 Report Share Posted June 18, 2004 As stated a couple of months ago, Windows Forum will be changing over the summer months.The two major changes to happen are the upgrading of the forum software, and a new custom skin.Their was no specific time set to implement these changes, but at the moment Invision is behind on coding the new version of the software. Once Invision release the final product, a new custom Windows Forum skin will be designed for the software, and then this forum will be updated in one go.I currently estimate to have the two major changes implemented by August.In the mean time while we wait for the above, other changes have occurred here the forum. A new skin has been made available, and this will be available until the custom skin is ready.Board categories and forums have also been shifted around, deleted, merged and created. This is basic maintenance and is always being monitored and changed as and when necessary to accommodate the needs of Windows Forum and its members.As you may be aware, we have launched a new email service. All money raised via this service is put straight back into the forum to further progress it.A new feature will also be launched over the next couple of days that I hope you will all enjoy. More details will be released shortly.This topic was meant to be informative, but has just turned into a general culmination of what I can remember to talk about.
