n1ghts
Hi guys, this is my first post and I just wanna have some tips in order to avoid virtual memory page exhaustion. The thing is everytime I close down applications the .exe image name in windows task manager still appear, so it accumulates the virtual memory page usage. At the moment, I solve it by manually end its process, so my question that would it be possible to have those .exe image name closed down when I close down the application. If there is some kind of software to handle this please enlighten me.....thanks in advanced :P

Scarecrow Man
If your closing your applications properly, they should unload themselves. What other info can you give?
n1ghts
If your closing your applications properly, they should unload themselves. So, are you trying to say that each application has different way to be closed properly?all I know that when we want to close application, we just click on "quit" or "exit" icon. Correct me if I am wrong. :D
Scarecrow Man
Well, yes, most applications have an exit button. What program specifically is giving you problems? Also, check to see that it isn't running in the taskbar. Sometimes programs DO run after you close them, and for good reson, some not so good.
