Scarecrow Man
Well, this is a bit picky, but I've always wondered...Is there a way to specify where a program installs icons in WindowsXP? Example, setting up Firefox, it installs icons in the "All Users\Desktop" folder. I don't want it there.. I want it on MY desktop. I can go into the folders, cut and paste, and problem solved, but what about preventing the problem all together?
Chris
Nope.Unless you have "Create shortcut" option from the installer.

Bruce
Tell it not to install any desktop icons. Then just create your own on the desktop you choose.
