leee Posted July 18, 2004 Report Share Posted July 18, 2004 i was recently working on by computer which had two OS installed, Windows 2K and Windows XP, on windows XP I had Password Protected my account. Anyway i saved the folder and now that i have reinstalled the OS it says that "folder cant be opened" what can i do to open it? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

leee Posted July 18, 2004 Author Report Share Posted July 18, 2004 ok i found a way, back the folder up and then restore it there is an option while restoring it that says restore security settings too or something similar, well you uncheck that, and thats it. Scarecrow Man Posted July 18, 2004 Report Share Posted July 18, 2004 If your accessing from WIN2k (maybe winxp pro?), there is a security tab, with ownership rights.
