This is another one of those "it had to happen sooner or later" events.

The Mozilla Foundation announced that it has launced a new Security Bug Bounty Program where it will pay $500 to anyone who discovers what the foundation considers to be a critical security bug in their software.

Mitchell Baker, President of the Mozilla Foundation, said "this program reflects our commitment to protecting consumers from malicious actors ... The Security Bug Bounty Program will help us unearth security issues earlier, allowing our supporters to provide us with a head start on correcting vulnerabilities before they are exploited by malicious hackers."

The bounty program is initially funded by contributions from industry notables and the foundation said that anyone who wants to donate (it's tax-deductible) to help further fund the program can do so.

Even with his fortune if Billy the kid [sorryGates] made that offer he would be broke within six months.

If he makes that offer i'll quit my job. ;)

Now wouldn't that be nice, we could all become millinaires whilst he goes down to what we are now, then we could screw [in a polite way, of course]him for a change.
