Guest Nellie2 Posted March 18, 2003 Report Share Posted March 18, 2003 I will if it happens again but somehow I don't think so because I tried using the keyboard last time it happened and although I could get the start menu up by pressing the windows key.......I couldn't get any further than that because my arrow keys just wouldn't take me up the menu. Guest Nellie2 Posted March 18, 2003 Report Share Posted March 18, 2003 Yes that is what I thought too........virus!!! That is why I did the online scan and everything else, but that came up clean. Plus I have my anti virus, my firewall and a firewall in the router too.....so it would be hard for anything to get through. Perhaps it is just one of those quirks I am going to have to live with.......don't know if it is going to happen again or not but my system is behaving itself at the mo!!!! mark2 Posted March 18, 2003 Report Share Posted March 18, 2003 Hopefully you will find your apps will load quicker, possibly not a great deal unless they are resource hungry, perhaps office apps will be more noticable than perhaps IE. :D Maybe try a ps2 mouse if the problem rears it's head again.
