Now I seem to remember that this involved placing the sheet to be skinned inside a wallet which is then heated and pressed together so the whole is fused. What I can't remember is how far the plastic protrudes around the paper. I'll need to print 2 pages so the rear image wont bleed through so should I trim the selvedge from the sheets to enable the plastic to fuse to a good seal around the edge? i.e. I will print the sheets on A4 so is the wallet A4 size or bigger? Am going down tomorrow and thought I'd get it laminated then so want to prepare and print today. What is the physical size of these wallets for A4 size. (Amazing what you can find in those stationery cupboards!! :huh: )The wallet is 30½cm by 22½cm it fits an A4 sheet very nicely with just a little bit left around the edge. doug Posted September 13, 2004 Author Report Share Posted September 13, 2004 Well I've just printed off 2 copies at 27.2 x 19.9 cm and will trim just to be on the safe side. Must ensure I get a good seal around the edges, don't want the North sea gales getting in and spoiling it. Hope to get it laminated tomorrow. Will let you know how it goes.
