nfadywin
My girl friend and I share a laptop (win.xp s.2). Since I use a lot of programs, the desktop is full of icons. My girl friend does not like the desk top to be clustered with icons. I tried virtual desktop, but that does not deal with the issue of having two different desk top with different icons. I was thinking of creating a different account but it would be a hassle to install all the programs again. Is there a way we can have a user account with 2 different desktops with different icons? If you have an answer, reply and will give you a clap.
expertec
If you create a new account, you won't have to reinstall the programs. They should just work :ninja:

andsome
Hi create unused icon folder on desktop then drag and drop icons you don't ues into it..........tidyTo do this, right click on the desktop, and select 'create new folder'. Double click on the folder and make sure that it is open in small format so that you can drag all the unwanted icons into it. When you want the icons for your own use. Double click the folder and double click the item that you want to open.
