Xp doesn't recognise my new sata drive

Existing setup is a maxtor 120gb ide drive with an adapter to enable it to run on the NF7-S sata port.

I have installed an Hitachi 160gb SATA150 drive and want to transfer everything over onto the new drive.

Both drives show up on the Sil screen during boot-up however, the new drive doesn't appear in XP' s 'My Computer'.

It does appear in device manager.

How can I get Windows to fully recognise my new drive so I can transfer my files over?
