shempdevil Posted September 20, 2004 Report Share Posted September 20, 2004 Thanks for your time,I am running 98 SE and last night I rebooted my PC and it got stuck on the Windows screen.The scroll bar at the bottom is still scrolling across the screen but it goes no further.If I hit ESC, the screen goes black and it says "Windows was unable to update file..........................................from......................... ...."I have not made any changes to my PC in months....Thanks for your helpMatthew Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
