Guest Tinribs Posted March 22, 2003 Report Share Posted March 22, 2003 I had a similar problem (though not with XP) last year, it turned out to be a crack in a track run on the motherboard and certain movement from my desk during use must have managed to open this crack causing a reboot, a new mobo cured it 100%, your problem may not be this but something to think about.I believe the cracked track may have been my error whilst overzealously reseating a ram strip.But other causes could be a dodgy or poorly seated ram strip or maybe power supply on its way out.Just some ideas to think about. :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
