To give us an idea of what is happening and get stop error information, go start>control panel>system>startup and recovery>settings and take the tick out of the automatically restart box this will give you an indication of the stop error then we can work from there

I had a similar problem (though not with XP) last year, it turned out to be a crack in a track run on the motherboard and certain movement from my desk during use must have managed to open this crack causing a reboot, a new mobo cured it 100%, your problem may not be this but something to think about.

I believe the cracked track may have been my error whilst overzealously reseating a ram strip.

But other causes could be a dodgy or poorly seated ram strip or maybe power supply on its way out.

Just some ideas to think about. :)
