Pink screen

I think andsome is spot on there. The way to check it is to move the Hi-Fi, especially speakers but also any mains powered units, away from the screen.

You may need to de-Gauss your monitor before the problem can be completely eliminated.

De-Gauss. Don't worry about it if just moving your stuff cures the problem. If you get a residual colour distortion, de-Gaussing applies a large magnetic field to the screen to correct any distortions done by outside magnets such as those in speakers.

The de-Gauss button will be in with the adjustment controls of the monitor but, it isn't a thing to be used willy-nilly and if you don't really need to do it, don't. :)

Just remember that anything electrical or electronic which is meant to be put near to a computer monitor or TV set, will be screened by the manufacturers. Small computer speakers are usually OK near to a monitor, but a sub woofer should always be on the floor away from monitors, so should Hi-Fi- speakers unless the manufacturer claims that they are shielded.
