I dont see P2P networks as something internet users should be scared off and those users who carry infection and acount for a vast proportion of malicious online traffic are the unfortunate souls who dont understand about mallware,viruses and the importance of scanning and updating regulary, as such these users are likely to become infected wether or not they use P2P.
