After I installed a US Robotics 56k* Voice Internal PCI modem, my PC will not power up unless I remove the 240v AC mains lead for at least 10 seconds (and then replace it). After that little process it responds to the power on button as normal.I contacted Dell and they blamed the modem. I contacted 3Com (US Robotics) and they blamed the design of the Dell so I am stuckIf anyone out there has experienced anything similar and has solved it I would love to hear how you did it.
