Tony
Ok i brought for my sons birthday a Nintendo Game Cube Re This Thread, now i know that i changed my mind from a PS2 to the Game Cube, but they are doing a really good deal on them over here in Germany, Game Cube Platinum Pack with Mario Cart Double Dash for Euro's 99.Any way it is brought now, But what i want to ask is about the memory cards. What size memory card should i get, i have seen them ranging from 4 Mb to 64 Mb in size, how much info does a game store on them cos a 64Mb card seems a hell of a lot of memory for saved games, the last thing that i want him to have to do is having to start deleteing his saved games, just to play another game that he maybe of borrowed of a friend or something. On Ebay there is not to much difference in the prices for them € 5 for the smaller cards and upto € 15 for the bigger ones. Also is there any know problems with the 3rd party memory cards loosing data or anything like some of the 3rd party ones did for the PS1Cheers Tony
blacksonic
HeyI have a nintendo Gamecube but an american version. i know here there has been lots of problems with third party memory cards becoming corrupted for no reason at all. someday u may just turn it on and all the memory is lost. i have a nintendo-made memory card with 251 blocks of memory(dont know how many mb's that is) and i've never had a problem with it, but games are starting to use more and more room on memory cards, so i say, the bigger, the better, as long as its made by nintendo. i think they recently released a 1024 block memory card for 30 dollars, but i dont know how much it will be there. can't be too much though. i've played games that take up 51 blocks, and 200 blocks, but most are between 3 and 20 blocks, 251 blocks should do fine, but if you plan to let your son play LOTS of video games all day, then go for the 1024. you can get them, just about anywhere that sells or rents video games. if you cant find one, i'd suggest ordering one.Just trying to help :D
