Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 2.40Ghz

driver version 5.1.2600.0 from micro$oft

after clicking the driver details button it says:

file versions 5.1.2600.1106 (xpsp1.020828-1920)

location C:\windows\system32\DRIVERS\processor.sys

could it be a problem with the RAM if not the processor? wouldnt that still affect the CPU...

i dont wanna have to wipe the whole laptop again like we did about a month ago, and reinstall everything

all info is taking an extremely long time to gether as anything can take up to several minutes to load, any click of a button, selection or loading a program

the strangest thing is.. after the weekend of it not really being used or switched on... it loaded up normally again sunday night and since  but we havent tried photoshop or anything using high memory yet incase it ruins it again

all i HAVE done is removed all file association photoshop creates (on friday i think), (because someone suggested this on another forum, as it caused a similar problem with a computer they had) but i was doubtful of this working because we've always used photoshop on the laptop without ANY problems - nothing like this! and after restarting the laptop - it didnt fix it anyway it was still unusable

was only after being off all that time its worked again! but i know it aint right and some allocated memory in particular is not being freed by the system.. either due to hardware error; or files messed up. i dont get why though and how it can just fix itself too... :censored:
