n1ghts
Hi all I ave a major problem here...I have been trying to kill two iexplorer.exe but it appears that it always regenerates itself to appear again :( and when I tried to kill it, there are PINGSH~1.EXE and HEARTM~1.exe appear for each iexplorer.exe in my task manager and disappear again after regenerating the iexplorer.exe eventhough I have denied it by using PREVX and I also did try to kill it by killItAll2 app, it did not work either:< I have updated and scanned using Spybot and Adware as well as NIS, they did not trace anything to solve it....any idea guys...those two iexplorer.exe consume a lot of my memory usage....what a waste  Thx in advanced

n1ghts
as much as I want to scan and log it, the problem is solved now, so I cant log the problem with hijackthis.....by the way, does anyone knows how this rapid blaster can infiltrate computer system and putting folder with rapid blaster file in it?what I am trying to ask is what sort of application we install in Windows can lead to this file existence?what sort of prevention can we do?any ideas?Thx again nellie2
nellie2
You probably didn't install anything knowingly... Rapid Blaster is what we call a drive by download, if your activeX settings aren't configured properly it just gets in. see here (don't visit the official Rapid Blaster link at the bottom of the page..) and here
