thegooch49
Hi gang, sorry this is a goofy question. My boss asked a question, about some shortcuts that were created on his computer. He has a folder on his desktop called 'letters'. Inside this folder, there are about 3 word docs and 2 shorcuts for the folder 'letters'. Basically there was a shortcut pointing to the parent directory.I hope that makes sense. Any idea how those could have gotten there? I suggested it was probably an unknown keyboard combo that created this. Is there a keyboard shortcut perhaps that might have done this? What is the keyboard combo to create a shortcut? Is there one to create a shortcut to the parent directory? Thanks for the help.
andsome
Maybe there is such a facility, but I am not aware of it. If I want a shortcut I create it myself.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I found a similar situation on a friend's computer. Seeing him operatore the mouse, I can easily imagine some involunary dragging-and-dropping (like unsuccessfully trying double-clicking a folder, while moving the mouse slightly).
