I just had an automatic full virus scan detect the Java/ByteVerify virus on my system.Is this anything to even worry about removing? In searching the Internet, I've found that it's not really a virus per se, but something that enables an exploit of a MS security flaw? That's something I didn't know...There is also the fact that Java was made to be platform-independent and is NOT supposed to be able to make any fileystem changes whatsoever. So just in case.........I clicked on the link you had to fix this Java/ByteVerify so called virus and I did what it said to do, BUT when I go into settings, I cannot find a Java Plug In to go in a finish doing what I am suppose to do...now what? :blink: Can you help me out? This is not a virus per se, simply a security violation with teh potential of being exploited.
