macboi
At the moment i am using a Windows ME hard drive and Windows ME Operating System on my PC but i have recently bought an apple macintosh computer and 'Virtual PC' software (a PC emulator for pc and mac).To use virtual pc i need to install the virtual pc software and also have a licensed copy of a windows OS (doesn't matter which version)to get a licensed copy of a windows os im going to have to splash out again on a new OS cd.. unless there is a way to change my preinstalled Windows ME on my pc into an OS cd (like one you wuld buy new and upgrade your old OS with) is there a way to do this? for example by burning the system folders to cd?a reply asap would be cool thanx even if it is to say "no you cant do that"*also excuse my term "OS CD" if this isn't what they are really called. nellie2
I don't think you can do that macboi, the reason that the O/s is pre-installed by manufacturers is to stop us doing just that. :( I've never liked the idea because in my opinion you have paid for the license, you should be able to have it on what ever machine you like. (As long as it is only one at a time!)
