Nothing but a nightmare..

The cable from mobo to floppy drive was not in properly. I pushed it in, turned on and everything was blue!

So I thought, ok, faulty cable probably, lets take it out.

Still blue :(

Graphics card not in right? Let's take it out and putit back in.

Still blue :(

Mobo grinding against the case maybe? Nope spacers are there supporting...

Still blue :(

RAM not in right? Checked it...

Still blue :(

I'm running it bare bones at the minute and yes, I'm still blue. I'm going to substitute working parts for the current parts to find out who's causing the problem. I'm guessing the mobo, as I touched nothing else.

ANyone got any ideas before I have to go take it back to the shop  ?

P.S. I'm using madre's pc as my laptop backlight also went Sunday. JUST NOT MY WEEK! :P

It was a TFT :D The alternate monitor worked perfect. Is it a case of just having to buy a new one? I already tried "Auto correct" with the monitor.

I don't necessarily mind getting a new monitor though, I'll just get a nice posh one :P Do you recommend any brands for good TFT's? This one was a ProView that I got with the original system (it's changed almost 100% since purchase).
