EdBoy7713
I'm about to reformat my hard drive and have greatly narrowed down what I need to save prior to this, but one of the files, actually the America's Army exe file, is 733 mb...to big to burn to a CD-R. Is there any way I can partition this with a program, burn it to 2 CD-R's, then un-partition it back with the program after I reformat my hard drive? Thanks so much....oh..i greatly apprecitate advice and help, but dont bother suggesting i buy a DVD burner etc.. or nething else that costs $$ lol.....THANKS! scuzzman
You can use WinRAR to split and re-concatenate the file. Along with ofther archiving utilities simply for the compression.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
The Windows Backup utility may also be able to compress your file sufficiently to get it on a CD-ROM. Don't know if it can break up the backup file in multiple parts if still too large to fit a CD-ROM.
