Please message me if you can help...--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Anyone know what to do with Video files that are too dark. In WMP 10 you can increase brightness but its LOCKED for certain files while for others its not. Ive tried other players. My monitor is at its max bright. level. Can i increase the brightness of the locked video files?----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Anyone know how to i can take low quality video files (MPG, ASF, etc...) and increase thier quality to VCD or DVD level? I have several music videos on my computer from the 1970's. They audio and video quality is dreadful but i dont have the heart to delete them. Anything possible here? note: Ive tried Video repair-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Anyone know why i recieve a VISUAL C++ RUNTIME LIBRARY ERROR when burning a DVD with NERO VISION EXPRESS 3?During burning a random popup appears which crashes the whole process. It affects the nero vision express.exe file. Its completely random and sometimes never happens. ive tried reinstalling.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Anyone know the name of the program that allows you to preview the contents of .REG & .TXT files simply by hovering over them?-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Anyone know of good program(s) for: 1) reducing CPU temperature2) increasing CPU lifespan 3) reducing fan noisenote: i have a dual INTEL 2.8GHZ P4 chip with 512 RAM & XP PRO SP2.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Anyone know a good program(s) for:1) recovering bad, damaged, lost or corrupted AUDIO CD files? note: This would be a burnt CD. It has a nasty scratch on it and im trying to recover the songs to my HDD.note: Ive tried CD ROLLER but it freezes during recovery. Sometimes it goes into maniac mode (meaning it spends hours trying to recover a few seconds of a track and ultimetly just ends up freezing). It takes a thin layer off the CD so any scratches dissapear.Anyone know why i get a small pink X in the upper left corner of IE6 browser window when i goto certain links?Note: this occured while clicking an EXE file on a download pageProbably the SP2 bar that attaches itself to IE with SP2.It is a security warning about downloading files. Thanks in advance for all your posts everyone.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Anyone know of a XP TWEAKS mailing list were the most updated tweaks are delivered to your inbox? how about the newest tweaks! ive screened all the tweaks ive found on the net (about 20 sites). There is much repetition among them. Is there a more updated TWEAKS resource for XP?----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Anyone know how to increase the timeout when downloading files from webpages? When im on a direct download site, my settings allow me to download 10 songs at the same time (this is good) This is the MaxConnectionPer_Server option i believe. The problem is the remaning songs are left waiting until an opening pops up. They only wait for a few minutes (3 or 4). How can i increase this waiting period. Im trying to avoid the Timeouts were the download just ends up cancelling itself and im forced to download the file again when my settings allow me.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Anyone know why i recieve frequent lags in IE6? I have a fast connection (fully tweaked for adsl etc..) but i find myself always forced to REFRESH webpages (for every 10 pages i have to refresh 1). Whats going on?
