Gagaman
Friend is working with a dial up modem. When he opens IE, the modem automatically connects to the internet. But when closing IE, the connection stays established. So he wants that the connection ends automatically when closing IE. Where can he change this??? homecomputeraid
I just looked around IE's options in Tools, Internet Options, Connections tab and didn't see anything that will make that happen in there. I hope someone else knows a way for you. Is there any software provided by the Internet Service Provider that might allow it?
Agent Smith
Hmmm, I'm not 100% sure on this one, but if you go into theTools>Internet Options>ConnectionsTab in IE, then select the settings for the dial up connection, and finally the advanced option, there is a radio box for you to tick to "disconnect when connection may no longer be needed". I think this is the option that brings up the "do you wish to close this connection" (or someting similar) question when you shut down IE or OE.Mr. IM
