persianpower
hey im trying to install xp sp2i was forced to reinstall my os bc of a crashnow i want sp2 back again but it wont install it says u do not have a valid ID (i guess its refering to the new serial # i typed in during setup). It doesnt seem to be recognizing it as legit. Is there anything i can do to obtain my old working serial number and somehow change my current settings to reflect the rightful & legitimate windows validation code and then dump this pirated key?If not, is there any non-microsoft hosted dowload sites were i can just simply download sp2 in peace without any tracking or headaches?Has anyone dealt with this kind of SP setup problem after an OS reinstall? What can i do?
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I don't know the answers to your questions. But: do you know about slipstreaming? See http://www.windowsforum.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=12469 how to produce a slipstreamed SP2 CD-ROM.
