masefield Posted February 7, 2005 Report Share Posted February 7, 2005 I have had a problem when I open a new browser window from a link it opens in a tiny window and I click the maximise button to increase size to the screen. I have tried the fix by dragging the size of the new window holding down the ALT button and then closing down the new window by clicking the X button. However, whilst this fixes the problem initially the next time I open the same link it is back to a tiny window. Please could I trouble anybody for a further fix. scuzzman Posted February 7, 2005 Report Share Posted February 7, 2005 Set a window to the wanted size, then log off and back on (without closing it and don't just "Turn off computer")Windows is remembering your windows settigns (it was probably set like that by a popup or something) and it needs to restore the profile.
