Has anyone else pre-ordered Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Did you get an e-mail yesterday to say their suppliers have told them it will not be available in the foreseeable future and suggesting you find another seller .....

- then did you get another e-mail later in the day correcting 'a recent communication that they sent' and confirming that the book will be available on the day of release.

They go on to say .... ' we assure you that howlers have been sent to the muggles reponsible for this action and we are investigating the possibility that You-Know-Who may have been involved'. (You need to be a Harry Potter afficianado to appreciate this attempt at lightheartedness.)

So, was it a disgruntled employee that sent the first e-mail or were they hacked? .... has anyone heard anything about it?

Yes - I've got the films - being an avid reader (when eyesight allows) I like to form my own mental images :blink:

I ordered my copy of the new 'Harry Potter Book HBP', on the 16th Feb, I haven't recieved any email like the one you described, only one confirming my order and dispatch date which is the 15th July (Day of release),
