For some reason, the sound does not work...

It says that the driver cannot be found and I am assuming that it's on the original Windows XP disk. But, it's too bad I don't have it to try it. Does anyone know if it is for certain, and if you do, can you tell me if there is an alternate why to get the driver? If it's not on the XP disk, how do I install the driver?

Thanks :D

What sound card do you have? If it is on-board (part of the system) you should be able to get drivers from the motherboard manufacturers (that is if you don't have a disc with the drivers on). If you have a separate sound card (plugged into the motherboard) again, you will be able to get drivers from the makers of the card.
