Satrin
It says that the driver cannot be found and I am assuming that it's on the original Windows XP disk. But, it's too bad I don't have it to try it. Does anyone know if it is for certain, and if you do, can you tell me if there is an alternate why to get the driver? If it's not on the XP disk, how do I install the driver? Thanks :D
-pops-
What sound card do you have? If it is on-board (part of the system) you should be able to get drivers from the motherboard manufacturers (that is if you don't have a disc with the drivers on). If you have a separate sound card (plugged into the motherboard) again, you will be able to get drivers from the makers of the card.Welcome to Windows Forum :)
scuzzman
Know what the manufaturer/model number of the sound card (or even the motherboard) is? Or, even f you can just get us the name of the computer (IE: Dell Dimension 2400) we can probably google up the needed information (but more information is always better). Satrin
Hey, I got the driver from the motherboard manufacturer, but it still didn't find it. Any hints?
Satrin
By the way, I built my computer. I have a MachSpeed MagicTwin N-Force 2 Motherboard and the chipset there is nVidia. I have my mobo CD laying around somewhere but I can't seem to find it...
