ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb Posted March 10, 2005 Report Share Posted March 10, 2005 Welcome to the Windows Forum!I would first try to remove the spyware, so you can keep XP.Microsoft AntiSpyware (Beta) is pretty good at identifying and removing spyware.If you are unable or unwilling, then obtain a Win98 boot disk. Use it to boot, then format the HD and install Win98.P.S. If you try to keep XP, I would also recommend to install the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool (KB890830) - see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;en-us;890830.
