tundrak
I am ahaving trouble transvering my Quickbooks program to my new computer. My old machine is windows 98 and the new one is windows xp. I tried burning it to a cd and then putting that cd onto the desk top of my new computer, but I can't get it to open. Any help on this project would be greatly apprieciated. scuzzman
Are you sure the data was burned properly?

-pops-
There is much more to any program than you can see, or access, on a computer. For instance there are registry entries which determine the operation of the program which are located away from the visible parts. It is normally extremely difficult to transfer a program in its entirety by the method you are attempting.Windows XP has a useful facility called Files and Settings Transfer Wizard which may help you transfer the program. Worth investigating :)
