Scarecrow Man Posted March 18, 2005 Report Share Posted March 18, 2005 A user at my work is having a lot of trouble shutting down Outlook. It is part of the Microsoft Office XP package (ver. 2002) and is connected via exchange server.The problem is occuring when the user closes outlook. The message "Please wait while outlook exits" comes on the screen, but does not go away. The user must press ctrl+alt+del and end the task to shut it down. It would seem that this has not affected any e-mails, and sending/recieving is just fine. The only problem is during shut down.Any ideas? homecomputeraid Posted March 18, 2005 Report Share Posted March 18, 2005 Does the person have a huge mailbox? Any large attachments in the Inbox? Has he or she deleted sent items and deleted items?
