The layout has changed to a more up-to-date and jazzier design than the last and will be home to more content that will become available over the coming weeks.Once I am satisfied that the above has meet its content potential, both administrators and moderators will be briefed on how to use certain features to keep the site looking current and up-to-date with regards to news, reviews and tutorials.Some processes will become semi-automated, .i.e. you will be able to request a deletion of your forum account via an online form instead of emailing an admin or just leaving. The example wont happen automatically, as an admin will still need to action the request, but it will speed things up for you the member.The ForumThe forum is the nerve centre of Windows Forum, this is where it all happens. With this in mind the forum will be updated with the coming release from Invision Power Board. Version 1.2 is going to offer more features and be an overall better board. As the layout of the new version is going to be slightly different from the current version we are using, I will not be modifying the current layout to coincide with the main site. Once the new version is installed I will look at a possible skin for it.The forum shall be updated within the next couple of weeks.Windows Forum .Org .UkOne link that has appeared on the new layout that you have not seen before is http://www.windowsforum.org.uk . At the moment this doesn’t point at anything, but this will change in the next two days or so.This new site will be used in conjunction with Windows Forum in one of two ways. It will either be used as a backup site for when this site goes down, or it will be home to a new domain hosting service I may provide.If all goes well, hopefully it will be used as a domain hosting service, in which case one other domain will be registered to act as a general backup site.Having multiple sites is also the reason for the copyright changing at the bottom of pages, it now reads ‘Windows Forum Group © 2002 – 2003’Domain Hosting ServiceAs stated in the above section, hopefully if all goes well, it will go ahead.
