Monitor problem

Recommended Posts

I have two PC's connected to a KVM, one PC is XP Home, the other is Debian Linux. Both connect to a Iiyama E435S monitor. The problem is that even with the proper drivers and the Iiyama test software the display in windows is pretty c**p. Yet in Linux (using X 4.3 and KDE) without any drivers the display is acceptable.

I have also put these same monitors in at work connected to windows dumb terminals and again the display is pretty poor. Yet the same windows dumb terminals connected to a Iiyama E431S is a nice crisp display.

Anyone got any suggestions??

Tim
