folder setting

Recommended Posts

I was trying to set the Folders control panel in order my files could show up the file extension.

I do not remember what I did wrong, but now, when I double click in a folder appears a search window. If I click search leaving the search entry blank, appears all the files in that folder. To watch a folder normally, I have to click on it with the right mouse button and choose the Explore option.

I have tried to fix this problem in the Folders control panel, but I did not succeeded.

What's the workaround here? :(

I have tried to change the setting, but when I open Foder Options control panel, open the File Type tab, choose File Folder and click in Advanced, in the Actions field has the Find option, and the Edit, Remove and Set Default buttons at the right are all dimmed. I can not figure out how to change this. :(

...and now I think this is a Windows XP bug because a friend of mine that is an expert user could not fix this problem using conventional procedures. He had to edit the register.

I think you clicked on the wrong button sergiobn, the reply came to the moderators instead of the forum, I've placed it here for you. :)
