Guest Little Boy Posted May 17, 2005 Report Share Posted May 17, 2005 Hi to all,I don't know if you know that clicking on a file with right button of your mouse you can crypt your files....I've done this for my folder... after all the files in my forder had the name wrote with the green colour. This mean that windows crypted my files. What huppend to me after is that as sometimes can be the system crushed so i'd to install again windows. I've done a backup of my files on another HD and i installed a new Windows, leaving the old one but broken in the backup HD. My problem is that now I can't open my files in my folder i've crypted before. I can't move from the backup HD, I can't copy, I can see but I can't open those files. They still have the name wrote with the green colour. Office says me that i've not the access rights to open the file. I try to understand how i can open them and the way is to have the key from my old System, how can I do this if it's crushed? Are there some ways to recover my files?
