doug
I do have MS messenger, for limited use, but somehow I've also got MSN Today popping up every time I boot up. Been checking through my system but I cannot see how to kill it. Any ideas please. :(

doug
Hmm, took a while to boot up. Had to have several goes to get into safe mode the was able to re-start. Seems OK now though. At least I now only have the messenger window popping up. Not sure if I really need that but will think about it. Thanks again for your help. Scarecrow Man
Your welcome. I dont think Messenger had anything to do with the reboot problem. You could upgrade to 7.0. http://messenger.msn.com
