H3g3m0n
I recently got a new X-Raider Flexiglow PS2 keyboard (its backlit) replacing my old USB one (a similar but smaller laptop style backlit one). The keyboard work great under Linux however under windows it doesn't work untill i Enable and Disable it in the Device Manager, it has one of those yellow circles with an (!) in it and in the properties it simply says failed to start (Code 10). After a disable and enable it works fine. Fortunatly I mostly use Linux nowdays but its still anoying and im probally goign to be booting to windows alot when GTA:SA is finally released for the PC.I carn't see why it would be doing this as it is just a plain ps2 keyboard, the only reason I can think of is windows has set itself up to use USB and the change to PS2 confuzzled it.I'm running windows xp x64 so there are bound to be a few problems but I would think that ps2 keybords would work (then again its windows). Is there anyway to force windows to reload the ps2 keyboard on bootup, such as something i can stick into a bat file, im guessing no since its windows and most stuff needs to be gui but i thought id check incase i missed somthing. :ninja:
-pops-
Have a look at http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documen...jk_dec_lgsc.aspWhere it tells you that a Code 10 error is due to drivers.Device failed to start. Click Update Driver to update the drivers for this device. On the General Properties tab of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooting wizard.
