Not logging out (WinXP Pro SP1)

Hi All,

I'm hoping that y'all can help me find a way around this problem. A little background:

I've got multiple user accounts on this WinXP computer. They are all adminstrator level accounts (not ideal, I know).

After a certain period of time (haven't measured it accurately, but not less than an hour) Windows tends to log out whoever's logged in at the time. Actually I'm aware that it isn't a complete log-out - the account seems to be switched out.

Is there a timer for this that Windows uses to switch people out of their accounts?

I'd like to disable it, if possible, and only have the machine log/switch out of a given acccount when that account user chooses to log/switch out via the start menue.

I understand that this is a security feature, but everyone in my family trusts each other, and there are times when it's more convenient to leave an account open and running, instead of having it switch out on you of its own accord.

Any help would be useful, thanks in advance, mates.

When your screen saver comes on, the default setting is to go to the welcome screen. Right click the desktop > properties, click Screen Saver. uncheck, display welcome screen on resume.

I dont know of any 'security' features that log a user out after a period of time.

Also pressing Windows Key+L switches users
