MrCommunistGen
Not a problem, just a question... I have an MSI kt6v-LSR with VIA VT8377 and Apollo KT600 chips for the North/South bridges. I've noticed that in EAX enabled games, EAX is enabled by default. I disabled it since I didn't think integrated sound cards had EAX, but Everest tells me that I do infact have EAX 1.0 and 2.0 support... can anyone confirm this, because I cannot find it anywhere in the manual, and you'd think that it would be a major selling point for the board.DirectSound Device Features Certified Driver YesEmulated Device NoPrecise Sample Rate SupportedDirectSound3D SupportedCreative EAX 1.0 SupportedCreative EAX 2.0 SupportedCreative EAX 3.0 Not SupportedThanks

MrCommunistGen
Thanks for the info.. that's really cool that my motherboard has eax support. My only question now is: will games slow down if I enable it or will all the extra work be handled by the sound chip?-mcg
Boris
EAX enabled games :-http://www.soundblaster.com/eax/gaming/gamelist.aspThe only ones on this list that I've tried are -Call Of Duty + Colin McRae 3Didn't notice anything being slow - it depends on your RAM/CPU ???That PC has 1 gig PC3200 + Barton 2500 + 128Mb FX5700LE - a "reasonable" spec.
