pc carshes when playing some games

i bought this game pandora tomorow for pc and installed it, it it ran fine but after a while everytime i played the game somewhere in between my game kept crashing into a blue screen with a sound looping over and ovgr again, i thought it was the game so i contacted ubi and no result, i thought it could be my graphic so i downloaded chaos theroy same problem, prince of persia same thing happended

and i thought the game i got from ubi was casuing the problem but now i downloaded juced demo, same problem again

here is my pc descrioption:

Advent Pentium 4 3.4 GHz

1GB RAM

ATI RADEON X600 series 256mb (graphic card)

Windows XP home wdition

and i must note its a PCI Express pc

so any thoughts?

This could be a lot of things. First off, are any other programs running when these games are launched?

Is your RAM in 2 or more modules, or is it a single 1GB stick?

Are there any messages on the BSOD? These could be helpful.
